Lead Pitch Content Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Pitch Content Lead to shape how our firm presents its services, capabilities, and client solutions in high-stakes pitches and RFP responses.

As the go-to expert for pitch content strategy, you will lead content development efforts that reflect our value propositions, business risks, and complex client needs. You will manage a team of experienced writers and coordinators across multiple time zones and cultures, and oversee content processes, technologies, and training initiatives to elevate pitch performance and consistency firmwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, refine, and maintain high-impact pitch content used in client proposals and major pursuits.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and pursuit leaders to craft tailored, client-centric narratives that address commercial challenges, legal complexity, and business value.
  • Oversee a portfolio of reusable pitch content, including firm capabilities, sector-specific solutions, and key differentiators aligned with business development goals.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing across a culturally diverse and geographically dispersed team.
  • Guide the adoption of best practices in proposal writing, storytelling, and response structuring.
  • Drive the use of tools, templates, and technology platforms for streamlined content management and quality control.
Qualifications:
  • 15-20 years of professional experience in proposal writing, strategic pursuits, or business development content within a professional services, consulting, legal, engineering, or financial services environment.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally managing geographically distributed teams and working across cultures.
  • Strong business writing skills with a focus on client solutioning, value proposition articulation, risk framing, and persuasive proposal development.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders, including partners and executive-level leaders.
  • Familiarity with proposal development software, content repositories, and workflow tools.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Background:
  • Experience developing proposals and pitch content in legal or consulting environments.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales enablement and pursuit strategies.
