">Responsibilities:">
  • The Senior Production Planning Supervisor is responsible for creating daily production schedules that optimize throughput while minimizing manufacturing cycle time and inventory.
  • This role requires strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and coordination with multiple functional groups.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking the SIOP file and forecast for upcoming months.
  • They will direct daily workflow through analysis of reports and input from cross-functional teams.
  • Aligning resources and shared resources across the factory to maximize efficiency and material flow is essential.
  • The candidate will supervise SCM production schedulers for daily parts/material information to analyze and establish dates to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Strong communication with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Purchasing, is required.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques to improve the scheduling function.
  • Actively participating in CI activities and process improvement, including creating/adhering to standard work, is crucial.
">Qualifications">
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Understanding of ERP/SAP systems, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or supply chain is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of industry, complex materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP.
  • Advanced data management using Excel or Power BI is required.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization are necessary.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative environment with strong ability to take action and get results is key.
  • Highly responsible individuals with strong logical thinking ability and team spirit are preferred.
  • Ability to lead and get results through people is essential.
  • Ability to quickly analyze, identify, and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have a measurable impact each year is required.
  • Change management skills are a plus.
