Job Title: Property Manager

This role involves overseeing the control, tracking, and movement of government and company-owned assets. Ensuring compliance with DoD property regulations is essential.

The Property Manager is responsible for coordinating logistics and maintaining accurate property records. This includes supervising the receipt, inspection, tagging, labeling, and secure storage of equipment.

  • Maintain and update the Master Government Property List to ensure accurate asset records
  • Manage property transfers, including documentation and coordination of related activities
  • Oversee logistics for site deliveries, staff travel, and equipment movements
  • Prepare and submit reports for any lost, damaged, or stolen property
  • Collaborate with other teams to align asset management practices
  • Conduct routine physical inventories and resolve any identified discrepancies
  • Prepare records and documentation to support audits
  • Develop and implement SOPs for effective asset handling, tracking, and control
  • Monitor property-related contract requirements to ensure full compliance

Required skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property and logistics management
  • Solid understanding of DoD property accountability standards and inventory control principles
  • Hands-on experience with shipping coordination and asset transfers
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset/property management systems
  • Ability to support audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance
