Junior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team.

This is a full-time position that offers a range of exciting opportunities for professional growth and development. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial services and support to clients, including day-to-day record keeping, management of accounts receivable and payable, and preparation of financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with cloud-based bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks Online and Xero.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality financial services and support to clients, including day-to-day record keeping, management of accounts receivable and payable, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and other relevant documents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks Online and Xero.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
