Job Overview

The Freight Credit Risk Specialist will play a vital role in the company's growth by analyzing and assessing credit risk for existing customers, reviewing financial data, and making recommendations to mitigate potential exposure. Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and assess credit risk for existing customers on a recurring basis
  • Review and evaluate financial data, payment behavior, and credit history
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review and respond to business credit requests
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage credit risk and exposure
  • Conduct thorough trade and bank reference checks for customer accounts
  • Document credit reviews and decisions clearly and consistently
  • Support credit-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in credit risk management, finance, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and financial assessment skills
  • Experience in reviewing credit limits and payment history
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with bank and trade reference analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace
