Business Role Overview

This dynamic business role is at the intersection of client relations, technology, and financial services. As a key player, you will empower others to accomplish more by seamlessly onboarding clients, building and deploying trade templates, ensuring robust connectivity, and supporting system enhancements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements from clients and vendors for successful onboarding.
  • Deploy trade templates and jobs by setting up necessary templates and coding.
  • Maintain connections to vendor SFTP/FTP, update expired keys or passwords, and ensure continuous connectivity.
  • Test existing trades by mirroring trading scenarios.
  • Aid in supporting existing clients by adjusting/updating trade files or recons, and implementing additional logic.
  • Review and prioritize software problems, advocating for efficient corrections.
  • Provide training and support to business areas, including traders, customer support teams, and others.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years of related experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with FTP/SFTP, transport protocols, and PGP encryption.
  • Proficiency in SQL, C#, and VBA.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, emphasizing collaboration with clients and internal service teams.
  • Desirable: Broker/dealer, client, and vendor experience, as well as understanding of equities, listed derivatives, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed Income.
