Area Sales Manager Position Overview

This key role is responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across multiple retail stores.

You will lead and develop branch managers and their teams to ensure every store meets its sales targets, delivers exceptional service, and operates with efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive Sales & Growth:
  • Oversee 4–8 retail stores and ensure sales targets are met across all product categories: laptops, mobile devices, printers, monitors, networking products, and accessories.
  • Manage each store's online presence to boost sales.
  • Track performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
Build & Lead High-Performing Teams:
  • Recruit, train, and coach branch managers and their teams.
  • Develop leadership skills through industry-leading training programs.
  • Conduct weekly coaching sessions and ensure leadership cascades down to every frontliner.
Communicate & Execute with Clarity:
  • Set clear sales targets and objectives for each branch.
  • Ensure alignment with company strategies for online sales.
  • Report area performance, challenges, and wins to the Regional Manager.
  • Implement directives backed by proof of execution.
Ensure Operational Excellence:
  • Maintain store compliance with audit, HR, warehouse, and accounting requirements.
  • Safeguard company assets and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Monitor and enforce operational standards in security, stock management, and administration.

Job Conditions

This role requires regular travel between stores and the head office. You'll work closely with the Sales Management Manager to address issues, identify opportunities, and drive performance.
