Job Title: Senior Financial Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Specialist to oversee our financial operations across entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while supporting the management team with clear reporting and insights.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial software, and strong analytical skills. They will be responsible for managing the finance inbox, recording and organizing invoices, executing payments, performing reconciliations, and assisting the accounting team with month-end closing and tax filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the finance inbox and address financial and administrative inquiries promptly.
  • Record, organize, and maintain invoices and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee and execute payments to suppliers and other financial obligations, managing both payables and receivables effectively.
  • Perform reconciliations of payments and receipts, ensuring all transactions are accurately reflected.
  • Assist the accounting team with month-end closing, tax filings, and ensuring overall compliance with tax regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Xero
  • Experience working with multi-entity companies and strong understanding of accounting concepts
  • Previous experience in e-commerce is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency with Excel
