Cloud Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. This challenging role requires a motivated and growth-oriented professional who can work in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet client needs. They will also be required to provide architectural guidance, support development, and identify opportunities to accelerate consumption in high-potential customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop technical visions, designs, project scopes, and deploy Azure-based solutions that meet client requirements.
  2. Translate client requirements into technical designs leveraging existing tools, services, and frameworks.
  3. Drive design and deployment of client workloads into Azure by providing architectural guidance and supporting development of the client's cloud adoption model.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and their impact on cloud solutions.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities to accelerate consumption in high-potential customer accounts.
  6. Mentor junior developers and provide knowledge transfer to other technology teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in application development specializing in C# .NET Framework, Angular, Microservices, React, Node.
  3. Relevant working experience in Azure, Azure App Services, Microsoft, and Agile.
  4. Prior experience in building front-end applications and cloud-native applications using PaaS, containers, serverless, and modern front-end JS/TS.
  5. Hands-on code and complex architecture development skills.
  6. Experience working in a consulting environment and major cloud platforms, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  7. Knowledgeable in OOA/OOD and Design Patterns.
  8. Understanding of Agile process and DevOps.
