**Banking Relationship Professional Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banking Relationship Professional to join our team at UnionBank of the Philippines.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, account management, and relationship building with a focus on retail banking products and services.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Develop and execute strategies to increase account base and total funds portfolio for retail banking customers;
  3. Conduct market research to identify prospective clients and determine their banking requirements;
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to explore opportunities for cross-selling and relationship improvement;
  5. Screens and evaluates credit worthiness of clients who request for credit accommodations;
  6. Collaborate with branch service personnel to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely resolution of client requests and complaints;
  7. Ensure that all branch service and operations personnel are oriented with bank products and services, and are trained on basic selling skills;
  8. Harness resources from support units for efficient client base conversion and deposit generation;

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail banking, account management, and business development;
  • Strong knowledge of retail banking products and services;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Competent knowledge of UBP selling competencies; prospecting and contracting; pre-call planning; customer-focused selling, and relationship management;
