Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview:
- We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that digital banking builds meet business and customer expectations. This involves testing features across mobile and web applications, focusing on functionality, usability, and reliability.
Key responsibilities include reviewing requirements and design documents to create comprehensive test cases, performing functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are upheld, and raising detailed and reproducible defect reports; verifying bug fixes.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments, have 2+ years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is a plus), and possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
The following qualifications are also desirable: a good knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies, experience using Jira or similar tools, experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and usage automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
