Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to provide financial support to our clients through distributor/retailer back-up retrieval, collections, and transaction processing.

In this role, you will work closely with the AR Manager to build a scalable platform that supports deductions reconciliation. You will identify trends and opportunities for clients based on expense settlements, follow established procedures to determine whether expenses are authorized or unauthorized, and develop standard operating procedures for different tasks within the department.

You will also identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the deductions process. Additionally, you will assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting, and take responsibility for department goals by accepting new duties and finding opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient deductions reconciliation processes
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for clients
  • Collaborate with the AR Manager to build a scalable platform
  • Develop standard operating procedures for different tasks
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Promotion Management
  • A background or education in Accounting
  • Deductions, collections, reconciliations, and general trade finance experience required
  • CPG Industry experience required
  • Technical prowess with SaaS products preferred
  • Experience working in a start-up and comfortable with change
