We seek an experienced Revenue Cycle Optimization Specialist to enhance our revenue cycle management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing financial performance and ensuring timely collections.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounts receivable (AR) collection processes efficiently and effectively.
- Review and follow up on outstanding AR balances to resolve discrepancies and address payment issues.
- Identify and rectify billing errors and discrepancies in payment postings.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues and outstanding balances.
- Utilize EMR systems to track and manage AR activities.
- Analyze AR aging reports to prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
- Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
- Proven experience as an AR Collections Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems is required.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets.
