KMC Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trade Relations Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Trade Relations department, this individual will play a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating projects and programs to ensure project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Initiation
    • Define project objectives/goals; determine the scope of each project as well as the project charter.
    • Coordinate with key project personnel for requirements, technical analysis, design, and documentation of solutions to meet business requirements and drive problem resolution.
  • Project Planning/Development
    • Develop and coordinate the project plan by identifying project deliverables, milestones, scheduling, and required tasks.
    • Determine staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to each project phase, working with stakeholders and Resource Management.
    • Work with assigned project staff and/or clients to gather and document project requirements, communicate the work plan, assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
    • Ensure clear communication throughout all phases, from requirements gathering to project execution.
  • Project Production/Execution
    • Facilitate regular project status meetings to assess progress versus milestones and identify areas of potential concern, allowing timely risk mitigation.
    • Manage risks throughout the project by identifying, communicating, tracking, and mitigating. Provide technical advice and resolve problems, ensuring all follow-up action items are owned and closed out by relevant owners.
  • Project Monitoring/Controls
    • Manage and monitor project status by establishing a regular meeting schedule with project teams, directing and coordinating activities to ensure project progress on schedule and outstanding items/issues resolved.
    • Create and communicate regular status reports for management, clients, and the project team, providing formal and ad-hoc updates as required.
    • Evaluate and maintain completeness of all project documentation throughout the lifecycle, ensuring appropriate approvals at each phase.
    • Participate in reviewing, monitoring, and obtaining necessary approvals for project documentation, including Vision and Scope, Project Charter, Business Requirements, and Technical Specifications.
    • Monitor and manage project constraints, including scope, cost, timeline, resources, and risks.
  • Project Closing
    • Ensure successful project delivery by completing all components, including lessons learned documentation.
    • Coordinate project transition with other departments.
  • Ongoing Responsibilities
    • Maintain a strategic mindset in managing assigned projects and ongoing solution use.
    • Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
    • BUILD and MAINTAIN good working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in projects.
