Job Summary

The Senior QA Automation Lead is responsible for spearheading the quality assurance strategy across teams to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of web and software products.

This role involves developing and implementing testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all projects, ensuring seamless integration with development lifecycle and release workflows.

A strong understanding of testing, verification, and validation techniques is essential to guarantee software quality and meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years experience in manual and automation testing, including 1 year experience in leading a team, and be proficient in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Robot Framework.

Familiarity with source control management like Git and Bitbucket is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies and frameworks.
  • Drive test planning, prioritization, and execution of manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.
  • Oversee design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable automated test scripts simulating end-to-end user interactions across platforms.
  • Monitor automation test coverage and execution results, identifying issues early and ensuring efficient and reliable release cycles.
  • Review test results and quality metrics, preparing leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain and enhance automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations to support continuous testing.
  • Mentor QA engineers and foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the QA team.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years experience in manual and automation testing, including 1 year experience in leading a team.
  • Development and execution of test plans and scenarios.
  • Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Robot Framework.
  • Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms.
  • Source control management like Git and Bitbucket.
