System Architectural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced System Architectural Engineer to develop and maintain blockchain networks and protocols.

This role requires expertise in building and maintaining secure, reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements, designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures, and setting up and maintaining software in both data centers and cloud environments.

About the Position

This is a key role that involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining system procedural and technical documentation, staying up to date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices, and communicating threat models and risk assessments for all systems operated.

Additionally, this role requires strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain blockchain networks and protocols
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient systems
  • Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation
  • Stay up to date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices
  • Communicate threat models and risk assessments for all systems operated
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, GoLang, Bash, or Javascript
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements
  • Designed secure networks, systems, and application architectures
  • Set up and maintained software in both data centers and cloud environments

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies
  • Understanding of cryptography and security best practices
  • Able to contribute to open-source communities
