Financial Reporting Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled accounting professional to join our US Accounting team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with peers and management in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in preparing journal entries, reconciling financial statements and accounts, and ensuring data accuracy.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage month-end close, reconciliation and reporting procedures
- Review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries
- Prepare monthly Cost Plus JEs, funding, and cash projections
- Perform day-to-day accounting processes and procedures relating to fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals
- Enter monthly journal entries into the general ledger
- Perform monthly reconciliations and account analysis for designated balance sheet accounts and certain operating accounts
- Review daily bank activities and prepare JEs for bank reconciliations
- Assist on quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors
- Facilitate PBCs for external and internal auditors
- Prepare monthly BS & P/L Fluxes
- Provide technical accounting support as needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Interface with other departments to determine monthly accruals and other monthly journal entries, particularly relating to closing activities.
