Job Title: Senior Economist

The role of a Senior Economist involves leveraging economic expertise to drive the development of policies and programs across South / East Asia and Pacific region.

  • Economic analysis and research is conducted to inform policy decisions;
  • Develop and maintain databases and econometric models to support economic analysis;
  • Collaboration with experts occurs to design and implement economic development programs;
  • Technical assistance is provided to government agencies and other stakeholders on economic issues;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting economic analysis and research,

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Economics or a related field is required;
  • At least 5 years of experience in economic analysis and policy work is necessary;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required;
