Job Description:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, comfortable and in excellent condition. You will be responsible for daily checks on boilers, electrical systems and fire safety equipment. Your tasks include inspecting and replacing light bulbs, securing fire doors, conducting regular inspections of roofs, gutters and walkways to address hazards and maintain outdoor areas including gardening and external housekeeping.

You will handle planned maintenance tasks such as painting and grouting, as well as unplanned repairs. Basic plumbing, electrical and joinery skills are essential. A focus on compliance through ladder checks, fire alarm tests and utility readings is also required.

A proactive, can-do attitude will help you confidently tackle varied tasks with care and precision. If you have a background in maintenance, a passion for creating safe and comfortable environments and a commitment to excellence, you may be the ideal candidate for this role.
