Senior Technical Drafter

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Drafter to support our engineering and manufacturing teams.

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assemblies, and part models in SolidWorks
  • Interpret technical specifications to develop accurate technical drawings
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
Responsibilities:
  1. Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, and complete systems
  2. Develop accurate technical drawings from engineering specifications and data
  3. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design meets project requirements
  4. Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to revision control procedures
  5. Support the development of Bill of Materials (BOMs)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling
  • High proficiency in 2D and 3D solid modeling using SolidWorks, including assemblies, part modeling, and drawing generation
  • Excellent file management and project organization skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME Y14.5
