As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the engineering and technical services job function.

You will be required to provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Your tasks will include performing ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

In addition, you will conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. You will also assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

Furthermore, you will review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset are essential for this role. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is also required.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • With 2 years of job-related experience. Preferably with valid NC II certification.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
