Objective: Financial Analysis and Control Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to perform financial control and analysis functions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial reports for multiple legal entities globally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reconciling and closing the month-end General Ledger for accounts related to Business Finance, including Fixed Income and Currencies.
- Performing Foreign Exchange (FX) Position reconciliation, investigating breaks and escalating aged ones.
- Investigating and clearing exceptions/break items, collaborating with Risk Profit & Loss, Operations and Transaction Accounting teams.
- Improving processes, linking them to upstream/downstream processes and outputs, and implementing standardization and improvements in methodologies and outputs.
This role requires:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Business, with further qualifications advantageous.
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance from the Banking, Investment or Financial Services industry.
- Knowledge of various financial products and markets, including derivatives.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines and present results clearly.
