Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions, including cash posting, payment allocation, and receipt verification.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are also essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities
  • Cash Posting: Daily cash posting from various banks and financial institutions.
  • Payment Allocation: Accurate allocation of payments received from customers.
  • Receipt Verification: Verification of receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • AR Functions: Centralization of AR functions, including integrating high-volume acquisitions into a shared services center.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Month-to-month or week-to-week cash reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections and contract management.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems like Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and ConnectWise.
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-driven, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communicator with problem-solving abilities; committed to high-quality customer service; collaborative team player.
