Key Responsibilities:

As a senior WordPress developer, you will be responsible for building web applications using custom WordPress themes and plugins, applying web development best practices, and transforming app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Additionally, you will be responsible for creating an immersive experience for the user using micro animations while maintaining excellent performance scores, writing high-quality, scalable, and reusable code, gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design, creating the website architecture (WordPress Dashboard) including ACF and Gutenberg blocks, designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration, maintaining the platform's WordPress core while building customizable solutions that meet business needs, debugging errors, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine performance optimizations, conducting code reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to best practices in WordPress development, working with a team to integrate UI components with APIs and databases, managing the on-site search engine optimization (Yoast SEO), integrating data from various front/back-end services and databases using REST-API, navigating and utilizing the WPEngine dashboard, monitoring the performance of the live website using tools like Page Speed Insights, GTMetrix, and other related tools, collaborating with the development team to develop and maintain the website(s), creating and integrating quality assurance tests to ensure website success and security, and conducting WordPress training with the client when needed.
