Supply Chain Manager

At Crackerjack Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our procurement efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

• Source reliable suppliers based on factors such as quality, price, delivery time, and financial stability.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to maintain quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Process material requests from departments and obtain necessary approvals by providing required documents and additional attachments.
• Submit Material Requisition Form (MRF) to the Finance department for the processing of purchase orders to suppliers.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the purchasing process.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating supplier quotes to identify the most cost-effective options. You will implement cost-saving measures, such as negotiating volume discounts or exploring alternative suppliers, to minimize procurement expenses.

In addition, you will monitor purchasing expenses and identify areas for cost reduction. You will work closely with inventory management personnel to ensure adequate stock levels of purchased items and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

To achieve these goals, you will implement inventory forecasting techniques to anticipate future requirements and establish and enforce quality standards for purchased goods and services. You will conduct quality inspections of incoming materials and work with suppliers to address any quality issues.

You will prepare and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined. You will monitor contract compliance and address any issues that may arise.

Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to purchasing. You will maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and perform any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor.
