Job Title: Insurance Verification Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills? Do you have experience in insurance verification and pre-authorization? We are seeking a skilled Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our insurance and authorization department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient insurance coverage to ensure accuracy and eligibility for proposed healthcare services.
  • Prepare comprehensive authorization requests with required documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather clinical information and facilitate prior authorization.
  • Monitor authorization status and follow up with insurance companies.
  • Investigate and address insurance denials, resubmitting requests and appealing when necessary.
  • Communicate with patients regarding prior authorization process and potential delays.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance verification and pre-authorization.
  • Ability to work from 8am to 5pm EST.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
