Job Overview

Pricing Analyst role at a healthcare organization.

The Pricing Analyst ensures client accounts contribute to the organization’s profit through well-calibrated pricing based on accurate cost estimates and financial targets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy best-in-class pricing, costing, and profitability models.
  • Monitor and report the financial performance of assigned client accounts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and investigations related to account performance.
  • Collaborate with the Actuarial Team to ensure reasonable cost estimates.
  • Work with the Sales Team to ensure viable and profitable price quotations.
  • Provide timely and effective pricing reports.
  • Utilize systems thinking to understand financial data points and cross-functional dependencies.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze complex financial information and make informed decisions.
  • Critical and Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address financial discrepancies.
  • Systems-oriented Outlook: Understanding of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data-driven Analysis: Proficiency in using data to drive business decisions and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Problem Solving Agility: Ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory requirements.
  • Presentation and Communication Skills: Effective communication of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Capability: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in finance roles with exposure to Pricing, Revenue Analysis, Cost Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Modelling.
  • Experience engaging with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Basic use of ERP systems, preferably with process review and improvement involvement.
  • Degree in Business or Finance, preferably Accountancy.
  • Preferred industry experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or other service-oriented industries.
