Pricing Analyst Role

This position is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of requests for price discounts.

A high level of attention to detail and 98% accuracy on all work completed is required. All discount reviews must be completed within 24 hours of receipt.

The position requires mastery of cost evaluation methods, documentation protocols, and familiarity with micro-UPS systems, rack enclosure systems, power distribution, and thermal management products.

This role provides support to the Strategic Pricing Manager and is part of a team that drives customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

  • Generate margin calculations using approved standardized methodologies.
  • Document all completed evaluations using approved master forms.
  • Obtain data from company ERP systems and other approved sources.
  • Evaluate and approve or reject requests for discounts based on minimum margin requirements.
  • Communicate with management when requests for discount do not meet documented standards.
  • Assign commission using approved methodology and defined policies.
  • Update work instructions as required.
  • Own and support initiatives geared toward streamlining current processes, creating new processes, and utilizing new technologies and systems.
  • Identify customer needs through communication and probing.
  • Develop solutions to customer problems and provide sound recommendations.
  • Assist customers in handling, servicing, follow-up, communication, and closure of issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Preferably a degree in Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related technical fields.
  • 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
