Freight Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Track shipment levels across multiple locations to ensure timely arrival and departure.
- Prepare and manage customs documentation for international shipments.
- Oversee daily shipment operations, ensuring they meet deadlines and customer requirements.
- Manage carrier relationships, including rate negotiations and service agreements.
- Ensure logistics activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in freight forwarding, shipping line, or brokerage firms.
- Familiarity with shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, PKLs, invoices).
- Detail-oriented with experience in data entry and validation tasks.
- Comfortable with modern software, technology, and computer systems.
- Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), especially Cargowise or Magaya.
- Graduate of Customs Administration or similar degree program.
- Licensed customs broker.
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English.
