Project Manager Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead or manage projects, programs, or portfolios from conception through completion. This involves using project management techniques and processes to deliver results.

  • Lead multiple cross-functional groups over the project life cycle, coordinate dependencies and timing of deliverables within project constraints: scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Implement defined project management processes and procedures. Monitor project management compliance of other functional groups and assist when needed.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management; escalate issues as needed. Serve as point of contact for any issues and concerns.
  • Present regular project updates to project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Develop PM training materials and conduct training, as necessary.
  • Support Project Management Office operational tasks and provide support to operations in linking organizational strategies to project execution and goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college graduate degree in any field; preferably in Industrial Engineering or Information Technology.
  • At least 3 years' experience in leading/managing projects or continuous improvement activities.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in leading/managing software development projects.
  • Excellent communication and composition skills with the ability to foster communication and integration between project teams and/or functional groups.
  • Analytical, process-oriented, and strong documentation skills.
  • Outstanding organization and planning skills.
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work with different levels of the organization and cross-functional groups.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Lean Six Sigma Methodologies is an advantage.
  • PMP Certified is a plus.
