Job Description
This role requires a highly skilled Network Operations Manager to lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex network issues escalated from T1 and T2 support, ensuring minimal service disruption.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement network solutions that enhance overall network performance.
- Analyze network performance metrics and trends to proactively identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the NOC support team, providing real-time guidance and support during critical incidents.
- Implement and enforce network policies to ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior NOC staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Network Operation Center, with a focus on Tier 3 support.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VoIP, VPNs, and routing/switching.
- Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network problems and resolve issues efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
