Network Operations Center Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Center Specialist to join our dynamic team at Staff4Me. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can monitor network systems, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate issues as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routers, switches, and firewalls. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to relay technical information clearly.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor network performance and availability 24/7 using advanced network monitoring tools.
- Identify, log, and escalate incidents in alignment with established policies and protocols.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of network issues including connectivity, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing.
- Coordinate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a Network Operations Center or Help Desk environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds) is a plus.
