Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage end-to-end financial processes with strategic oversight, ensuring seamless execution of accounts payable and receivable tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance, as well as proficiency in enterprise-level accounting software such as QuickBooks Enterprise or SAP. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and receipts
  • Reconcile high-value financial statements and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Oversee collections, credit approvals, and vendor payment processes, optimizing cash flow and minimizing delays
  • Develop and implement cash flow projections, providing actionable insights for business decisions
  • Lead automation and efficiency improvements for the financial team, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable/payable, auditing, or financial reconciliation
  • Expert-level knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance
  • Proficiency in enterprise-level accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise, Xero, or SAP)
