We're Looking for a Recreation Supervisor

The Recreation Supervisor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing the recreational facilities and activities, ensuring they are well-organized and engaging.

Main Responsibilities

Guest Relations & First Impressions:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to create a positive first impression for guests, setting the tone for their stay.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote and upsell hotel amenities and services, enhancing guest satisfaction and revenue.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a professional and confident manner, coordinating with the Guest Service Assistant Manager on issues and resolutions.

Facility Cleanliness & Maintenance:

  • Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of all guest areas, including the gym, changing areas, pool shower areas, and lockers, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  • Conduct regular inspections of gym equipment, ensuring that all items are clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in each area to ensure safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Other Tasks:

  • Foster a culture of excellence and adhere to company policies and procedures in daily operations.
  • Maintain a high standard of appearance and hygiene at all times, reflecting positively on the company.
  • Participate in meetings, training activities, and courses to stay informed on industry best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned to support the smooth operation of the Housekeeping department and deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least two to three years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with peers and superiors.
  • Highly organized and focused, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective leadership qualities, with the ability to delegate tasks, motivate, influence, and develop team members.
