Job Opportunity

The Bookkeeping Assistant role is a vital part of our team, ensuring financial health and stability for our clients. We seek an experienced candidate with strong background in bookkeeping, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable / Receivables: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Billing: Generate and issue invoices to clients, verifying billing accuracy and resolving any billing-related issues, collaborating with internal teams to obtain necessary billing information.
  • Bank Reconciliations / Collections: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records, monitoring and following up on outstanding receivables, and facilitating collections.
  • Payroll Processing: Administer the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, validation, and distribution of paychecks, staying up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Invoicing: Prepare and submit invoices to clients in a timely manner, coordinating with project managers and team leads to gather relevant invoicing information.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a virtual or remote environment is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
