Job Description

The Head of Retail Sales Distribution is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive retail strategies across multiple channels. This includes managing end-to-end retail operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop Retail Strategies: Design and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and improve customer engagement.
  • Manage Retail Operations: Oversee all aspects of retail operations, including channel management, inventory planning, merchandising, and partner relationship management.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Foster collaboration and provide guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of retail strategies.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Management; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in retail sales and distribution, with at least 5 years in a senior executive or director-level role.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in managing multi-channel retail distribution, specifically consignment models, outright sales, digital/e-commerce sales, physical retail store operations, and demonstrated success in launching and managing concept stores.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience with exposure to executive-level decision-making and strategy execution.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make commercially sound decisions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in consumer electronics, appliances, or lifestyle brands is advantageous.
