Wind Development Associate

We are seeking a skilled Wind Development Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical teams, focusing on supporting project development and ensuring the efficient operation of wind farms.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a senior role in our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or atmospheric science, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with wind-specific software.

The Wind Development Associate will be responsible for performing various tasks, including:

  • Planning, recommending, monitoring, and controlling wind measurement campaigns and systems.
  • Undertaking energy and uncertainty production assessments for different layouts and turbine configurations.
  • Evaluating and recommending wind turbine models and suppliers.
  • Supporting technical, land acquisition, and permitting teams by providing analyses and producing detailed reports.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or atmospheric science.
  • At least 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with wind-specific software, such as WAsP, WindPRO, and Openwind.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
