Wind Project Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify suitable locations for wind farm development through desktop investigations and site surveys
  • Set up and monitor wind measurement devices such as meteorological masts and LiDAR equipment to gather high-quality wind data
  • Conduct comprehensive wind energy assessments, including statistical analysis, wind flow modeling, and uncertainty evaluation
  • Assist in selecting optimal wind turbine generators based on analyzed data
  • Manage multi-disciplinary engineering services for feasibility studies and detailed design activities
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
  • Prepare project documentation, financial models, and budgets to support decision-making
  • Support permit acquisition, regulatory compliance, environmental and social management, and land agreements
  • Advance projects from initial assessment towards construction readiness, ensuring adherence to timeline and budget

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Geodetic Engineering, or related fields
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in wind or renewable energy projects
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in wind resource assessment and statistical data analysis preferred
  • Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS), wind measurement devices, and project management practices
  • Licensed Engineer is a plus
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
