Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Model Validator to assess and ensure the accuracy of mathematical and statistical models used across the company. This role plays a key part in maintaining our risk management and decision-making processes by reviewing and validating the reliability of these models.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • To align with the team's work plan and ensure that model validation is performed according to established rules and guidelines.
  • To conduct thorough validation of bank models, ensuring they remain accurate and effective.
  • Prepare detailed validation reports summarizing findings, documenting validation procedures, and providing recommendations for model improvements.
  • To ensure timely and satisfactory validation of models assigned to this role.
  • To maintain alignment with team timelines and deliver high-quality output.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, and knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and modeling techniques. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 3+ years of relevant work experience is preferred. Master's degree in any relevant field is also desirable.

This is a full-time mid-senior level position within the Information Technology function, specifically within the Banking industry. As a Model Validator, you will be responsible for unlocking community knowledge and contributing to the development of new approaches in model validation.
