Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an ABAP Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing custom ABAP programs, working with clients and internal teams to resolve issues, and contributing to the growth and development of our SAP practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in object-oriented ABAP development, debugging, and problem management, with experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural global team.

As a leader within our firm, the successful candidate will be expected to actively seek out developmental opportunities for growth, act as a strong brand ambassador, and share their knowledge and experience with others.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing custom ABAP programs based on business requirements
  • Working with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and implement solutions
  • Contributing to the growth and development of our SAP practice
  • Actively seeking out developmental opportunities for growth and sharing knowledge and experience with others
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7-8 years of applied experience in ABAP program development and support on both SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
  • Strong technical proficiency in object-oriented ABAP development, including debugging and problem management
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment, familiar with work management using Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD and tools such as Jira, Octane, Trello, Asana and ADO
  • Strong foundation in IDocs, interfaces, enhancements, and Adobe forms
  • Solid understanding of integration to SAP modules such as OTC, SD, FIN, PM and CS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with demonstrated experience working effectively in a multi-ethnic and multicultural global team
