Senior SAP ABAP Developer

As a skilled ABAP developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing custom SAP applications using the latest technologies. Your expertise in ABAP programming language, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows, will enable you to create seamless integration of SAP modules and third-party systems.

You will work closely with functional consultants and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical support for SAP modules and resolving technical problems. Additionally, you will conduct unit testing and ensure all developments meet quality standards and comply with corporate policies.

With a strong background in full lifecycle SAP projects, including design, development, testing, and deployment, you will have the opportunity to work on transformation programs that modernize operations and drive innovation across our customer's entire IT estate using the latest technologies in cloud, applications, security, IT Outsourcing, business process outsourcing and modern workplace.

• Design, develop and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Create and modify reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and workflows using ABAP.
• Develop and implement user exits, BADI, BAPI and enhancements.
• Work on integration projects involving SAP and non-SAP systems using various SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE).
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Code Optimization and Performance Tuning:
  • Perform code reviews and conduct performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Optimize existing ABAP code and implement best practices in ABAP development.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for new and existing applications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for custom developments, interfaces and workflows.
• Collaboration and Support:
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Provide technical support for SAP modules, troubleshoot issues and resolve technical problems.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure all developments meet quality standards and comply with corporate policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP & S4HANA development. Applicants should have at least S4H experience, whether leading an S4H project or as a developer in S4H space.
• Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP projects, including design, development, testing and deployment.

• Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming language, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE).
• Experience with ABAP Objects, ALV reporting and Smart Forms/SAP Scripts.
• Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 and S/4HANA is needed.
• SAP EWM Knowledge.
