SAP ABAP Lead and Developer Role

As a highly skilled SAP ABAP Lead and Developer, you will be responsible for leading and managing a technical team. Your primary goal is to plan, assign, review, and supervise the work of ABAP developers.

You will work closely with the Project Lead/Manager by sending status reports regularly and raising issues/risks as early as possible. Additionally, you will provide feedback to each team member and train them on any technical skills required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a technical team of ABAP developers
  • Plan, assign, review, and supervise the work of ABAP developers
  • Work closely with the Project Lead/Manager to ensure project progress
  • Provide feedback and training to team members

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform ABAP programming and consultation, testing, peer review, and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules. You will also handle low to complex ABAP developments based on functional designs and work closely with functional consultants to develop ABAP code and troubleshoot and fix issues for projects and application support.

The ideal candidate should have advanced programming skills in ABAP, including reporting, interface, conversion, enhancement & forms (RICEF), BAPI, RFC, IDocs. Experience in programming for S/4 HANA (Simplification, HANAtization) and technical design and programming experience in SD, MM & FICO modules are highly desired. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for success in this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/College Degree
  • At least 6-10 years of working experience in the related field
  • Advanced programming skills in ABAP
  • Experience in programming for S/4 HANA
  • Technical design and programming experience in SD, MM & FICO modules
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
