Job Overview

The financial accounting function is a critical component of our business, and we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead this team. As a key member of our corporate team, you will oversee the entire financial accounting process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Manage end-to-end general ledger processes, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Lead monthly project costing and departmental reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement of our financial policies and procedures.

As a seasoned finance professional, you will be instrumental in shaping our finance department and building key processes that support our company's growth. You'll work closely with our leadership team to provide critical financial insights that drive our business forward.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in commerce and/or accounting and CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager supporting Australian businesses (preferably with international operations).
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll and GST legislation.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and building relationships with stakeholders across a business.
  • Experience/comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up/scale-up environment.
