About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Manager to join our team at Lioll & Chu Carriers OPC. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our fleet, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fleet Management: You will oversee the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of our vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Driver Supervision: You will manage and supervise a team of drivers, providing training, conducting performance reviews, and addressing disciplinary issues.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: You will implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program to ensure our vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Logistics Management: You will plan and optimize delivery routes, ensuring efficient delivery of goods.
  • Safety Compliance: You will ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company safety policies.
  • Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle maintenance, driver performance, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or transportation supervision.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a fleet of vehicles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using fleet management software and other relevant technologies.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
