The role of the Insurance Business Development Lead is to drive the Bank's Bancassurance strategy forward and achieve business goals. This involves acting as Relationship Manager for Bancassurance channels, Partners, branches, subsidiaries/affiliates, vendors, and various units.
As Program Champion, the jobholder will oversee leads referral, selling, processing, payments and product development of insurance products in partnership with AXA/CHARTER/OTHER INSURANCE COMPANIES.
The Insurance Business Development Lead will coordinate between the Bank's Bancassurance and related channels and Insurance partners to ensure that all sales and back-office processes and procedures are adhered to by relevant units.
Key Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from a college/university, preferably a graduate of a Marketing or Business course.
- At least 7 years equivalent experience in program management, product management, relationship management, strategic partnerships, sales leadership and execution in Banking/Finance or Insurance industry.
- Strong working knowledge in MS Office applications, focusing on Excel and Powerpoint.
