Finance Support Specialist

We are seeking a Finance Support Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide support for day-to-day financial operations, focusing on expense management, coding accuracy, internal documentation, and preparation of financial reports.

  • Ensure all corporate spend is properly categorized by account and department before month-end close.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to correct or complete financial coding and documentation.
  • Proactively identify recurring issues in expense classification and propose solutions.
  • Monitor and validate classification of key expense types.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing data for monthly financial reporting.
  • Support ad hoc finance requests.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations support roles.
  • High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills with working knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and data cleanup techniques.
  • Comfort communicating with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
  • Self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
