Financial Operations Specialist

Seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage daily accounting operations for multiple short-term rental properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks for multiple properties
- Reconcile bank accounts, merchant accounts, and booking platform payouts
- Track income, occupancy taxes, fees, and commissions from various rental platforms
- Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports
- Coordinate with property managers or hosts regarding budget adherence and expense tracking
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Maintain accurate records for audits and tax filings
- Accounting experience, preferably in the short-term rental or hospitality industry
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel; experience with short-term rental tools is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties/accounts
- Work-from-home opportunity
