Financial Administrator Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in data entry, administration, and general accounting. They should possess proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and any accounting software. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management on a weekly basis or as required.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policies.
  • Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, superannuation, and entitlements.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and employment laws.
  • Assist with employee reimbursements and benefits processing.
  • Provide support to HR regarding payroll-related inquiries.
  • Maintain financial documentation and records in an organised and accessible manner.
  • Assist with invoice matching to ensure accurate payment for goods and services.
  • Data entry support in connection with relevant tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year or more experience in data entry, administration, and general accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and any accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with secure financial record systems, and an awareness of maintaining strong cyber security protocols.
