Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

This position requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can ensure the health, performance, and scalability of our production environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying software engineering principles to solve operational problems, automate processes, and maintain system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, single points of failure, and scalability limits.
  • Observability Implementation: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to provide deep insights into system behavior.
  • Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response and resolution efforts.
  • Collaboration and Training: Work closely with software engineering teams to foster a culture of reliability and provide guidance on building resilient services.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud infrastructure to ensure platform robustness and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
  • Deep proficiency with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability to build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI.
  • Hands-on experience with modern monitoring and logging tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language for automation and tooling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the payments or FinTech industry.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies.
  • Experience with database administration.
  • Knowledge of networking, security principles, and compliance standards.
