Experimental Rater

We're seeking a skilled Experimental Rater to join our team. As an Experimental Rater, you'll go beyond standard data labeling to support the development, testing, and refinement of AI rating guidelines during early-stage pilot projects.

This position is ideal for advanced raters with strong critical thinking skills, a passion for ambiguity resolution, and an interest in the intersection of language, logic, and AI development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pilot Project Participation: Review ambiguous or edge-case examples with attention to linguistic nuance and rating logic.
  • Guideline Evaluation: Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or subjective interpretation risks in evolving rating criteria.
  • Insight Contribution: Surface detailed insights about rating complexity, user intent confusion, and contextual mismatches that can inform guideline updates.
  • Client-Facing Feedback: Translate technical or abstract rating experiences into clear feedback for client and engineering stakeholders.
  • Quality Standards Benchmarking: Help benchmark quality standards for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills and ability to resolve ambiguity.
  • Language and Logic: Interest in language, logic, and AI development.
  • Experience: Experience with data labeling or guideline evaluation is a plus.
